Niantic Labs has started rolling out a warning to players about using third party apps with their Pokémon Go game. This includes any app that allows users to “change the way the game is played” and not how Niantic intended for it to be played. These include Pokémon finder apps, gps spoofing, and IV calculators.

Niantic has announced three new features that will be coming to Pokémon Go this year. These new features could revitalize the whole game and get players that have dropped the game back into it. Pokémon Go Celebrates Pokémon Day With Party Hat Pikachu

February 27th, a.k.a. Pokémon day, marks the day the Pokémon video game debuted in Japan back in 1996. This makes it Pokémon’s 21st birthday. To celebrate this grand day, Nintendo, Niantic, Game Freak, and more are hosting special events on the day and throughout the week. This of course means a Pokémon Go Event.

New Items Pop Up From Latest Pokémon Go Patch

Any of you familiar with the Pokémon 3Ds games knows that there are lots and lots of berries, all with different effects on the Pokémon. The recent Valentine’s Day update has added code that looks like we will be getting new berries soon. These berries will likely be on a system similar to the Buddy System. Each of these berries will be able to be “grown” or have certain percentage growth rate before you can “pick them” – think of walking around to hatch an egg.

Trading & PVP Are Coming Soon To Pokémon Go

In a recent interview from Waypoint with Niantic CEO John Hanke, he confirmed that trading and player-vs-player are almost done in the testing phase and will be rolling out soon to everyone. These are probably two of the most requested and highly anticipated features wanted for Pokémon Go. Aside from the Generation 2 Pokémon and the Legendary Pokémon. Pokémon Go Valentine’s Day Event Is Live!

The moment that all Pokémon Go players have been patiently (or impatiently) waiting for is here. The Valentine’s Day event! It has started to go live for everyone, mine was taking forever to load though. While I still don’t think it is as good as previous events, it’s still something to get players back out there in the mix catching Pokémon again.
