Nintendo and Game Freak have announced the distribution of the Mewtwo Mega Stones for Pokémon Sun and Moon. They are planning on releasing most Mega Stones via distribution over a period of time. Beedrill will be the next distribution as it will be receiving Beedrillite and Mawilite for entering in the 2017 International Challenge which begins on March 7th 2017. A shared serial code will be given out in April for both of these.
February 27th, a.k.a. Pokémon day, marks the day the Pokémon video game debuted in Japan back in 1996. This makes it Pokémon’s 21st birthday. To celebrate this grand day, Nintendo, Niantic, Game Freak, and more are hosting special events on the day and throughout the week. This of course means a Pokémon Go Event.
The moment that all Pokémon Go players have been patiently (or impatiently) waiting for is here. The Valentine’s Day event! It has started to go live for everyone, mine was taking forever to load though. While I still don’t think it is as good as previous events, it’s still something to get players back out there in the mix catching Pokémon again.
Pokémon Sun & Moon’s third event is now live. While the first two missions haven’t had any success, this one looks like it could be our best chance yet to succeed. The last mission had us trying to perform over 1,000,000 Island Scans, but we fell just a little short getting 661,839 Island Scans. The third event, which you can start now, revolves around trading Pokémon through the Global Trade Station.
Toys’R’Us will be holding their own special Pokémon Sun & Moon TCG event in a few weeks. You can find a Toys’R’Us store near you by checking out this link. The thing about these events, you want to get there early so you can get the goodies before they all run out – which you can see after the jump.
It seems like it’s taken forever, but the day is almost here. Starting tomorrow, Pokémon fans around the world will be gathering together to join in on the Pokémon Sun & Moon Pre-Release Tournaments. The question is, will you be going?
Chalk this up with the other rumors going around, but April Fool’s Day event could be in the works for Pokémon Go. This has been rumored along with the Chinese New Year, Valentine’s Day, and St. Patrick’s Day.
Pokémon trainers around the world were tasked with performing Island Scans to reach the mission goal. A total of 1,000,000 Pokémon were to be catched through the Island Scan feature in Pokémon Sun & Moon, but unfortunately we came up a little short again. We got over halfway there with 661,839 Pokémon caught out of the 1,000,000 needed. As such, the reward is 217 Festival Coins, or 434 Festival Coins if the game is registered on the Pokémon website. Your reward is now available, so make sure you pick it up. Hopefully we will get something a little more achievable next time.
The time is almost at an end as to where you can receive Munchlax in Pokemon Sun & Moon. This event is set to end on Wednesday, 1/11/17, so make sure you get into your Pokémon Sun or Moon game to receive it before it’s gone! This is just the first Pokémon to come to Pokémon Sun and Moon via Mystery Gift. Don’t miss out on it.
Nintendo and Game Freak have announced the next Battle Competition for Pokémon Sun & Moon. The “Alola Friendly” is a Single Battle competition using only the Alola Pokédex.
