Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel Heads To DVD In March

Hot on the heels of the announcement of the Pokémon Advance Complete Collection comes yet another DVD announcement from Viz Media. The 19th movie in the long line of Pokémon movies will be releasing next month on DVD. It premiered on December 5th, 2016 on Disney XD. If you missed the chance to watch it then, you will now have your chance to buy it very soon!

Here is the official blurb on the movie:

Ash meets the Mythical Pokemon Volcanion when it crashes down from the sky, creating a cloud of dust—and a mysterious force binds the two of them together! Volcanion despises humans and tries to get away, but it’s forced to drag Ash along as it continues its rescue mission. They arrive in a city of cogs and gears, where a corrupt minister has stolen the ultimate invention: the Artificial Pokemon Magearna, created 500 years ago. He plans to use its mysterious power to take control of this mechanical kingdom! Can Ash and Volcanion work together to rescue Magearna? One of the greatest battles in Pokémon history is about to unfold!

Pokémon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel will release on DVD March 21st, 2017. You can find it for pre-order on Amazon, but it may be cheaper in other places…you may want to shop around.

Personally, I still have this move on my DVR currently. It’s one of the better Pokémon movies in my opinion. But I’m biased to Serena as well. I still watch this one about once every two weeks. It’s one of my favorites so far. Can’t wait to see what Pokémon the Movie #20 is going to be like if they keep making them at this quality!
